Lessie Mable Walls

LESSIE MABLE WALLS, age 87, of Bel Air, died in Mariner Health of Forest Hill on April 13, 2003. Born May 7, 1915 near Rugby, Virginia, she was predeceased by her husband Wint E. Walls with whom she enjoyed 57 years of marriage. Lessie and Wint Walls had lived in Maryland for over 65 years, the majority of which they resided on Prospect Mill Road. She was known for her loving pleasant disposition, wonderful cooking, especially her homemade rolls, home grown vegetables, and beautiful flowers, all of which she used to nourish her family.

Mrs. Walls is survived by two sons, Ronnie J. Walls and his wife Susan of Bel Air and Jerry S. Walls and his wife Joy of Montoursville, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren Abigail Walls of Portland, Oregon, Nick Walls of Bel Air, Denise Weintraut of Sicklerville, New Jersey, Christina Buker of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and Heidi Walls of Durango, Colorado; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Pearlie Parks, Norma Jean McGrady, and Earlie Reedy all of Troutdale, Virginia.

Pallbearers were Brian McGrady, Richard Henderson, Clarence Delp, James Duvall, Patrick Cole, and Tom Brookman.
