Leroy Richard Miller, Jr. “Lee”, age 80, of Bel Air, Maryland, peacefully passed away on December 15, 2023, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Leroy and Lorraine Miller and the devoted husband of Pat Miller.
Lee served his country with honor as a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Alaska. Following his military service, he became a cherished member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where he remained a lifetime participant. Lee's commitment to his faith was evident through his role as a Sunday school teacher and his genuine love for studying the Bible. He shared his passion for music and singing, leaving a lasting impact as a performer in the annual Oak Grove Living Christmas Tree.
Known for his quiet strength and gentle spirit, Lee was a man of few words but demonstrated his goodness through actions. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.
Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Pat Miller, his daughter Tracy Miller and step-daughters Patty (Clarence) Carter and Pam (Patrick) Grim. His memory lives on through his cherished grandchildren, Melissa (Brandon) Brady, Lyndsi (Greg) May, and Trevor (Krystal) Grim, and his 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2106 Churchville Road, Bel Air, MD 21015, in honor of Lee’s commitment to his faith community.
