LEOTA VIRGINIA MALOYED, age 78, of Bel Air, died at her daughter’s home in Bel Air surrounded by her loving family on July 5, 2003. Born in Saltville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Finley Talbert and Lula Alice Miller Davis. She had retired from Bata Shoe Company after 30 years of service where she was as an assembly line worker. She was a resident of Harford County for most of her life.
Mrs. Maloyed is survived by her husband of 25 years, Manuel Robert Maloyed; two sons, John Ronnie Call of Aberdeen; Richard Call of Bel Air; four daughters, Joyce Noonkester of Bel Air; Jeanne Morrison of Bel Air; Ruth Walls of Forest Hill; Lynn Piper of Aberdeen; two step-daughters, Laura Maloyed of North East; Katherine Wiles of Aberdeen; two sisters, Ida Bell Casey of Meadowview, Virginia; Etta Mae Wilcox of Meadowview, Virginia; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her first husband of 33 years, John E. Call of Forest Hill. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Gerald Call.
Pallbearers were: Eric J. Morrison, Kevin Noonkester, John Ronnie Call, II, Joseph Walls, Richard Call, and Ronnie Call.
