Leonard Pieper, age 90, of Monkton, MD, passed away on December 27, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Emmorton, MD, he was the son of the late Evans Leonard and Nellie Margaret Gross Pieper. He was a farmer his whole life and was also a horseman who participated in fox hunts.
Mr. Pieper is survived by his wife of 33 years, Emilie Schmidt Pieper; sons, Skip Pieper and Stephen Pieper both of White Hall; daughters, Beverly Pieper and Sandra Frank both of Monkton; brother, James Pieper of New Freedom, PA; sister, Margaret Kookogey of Towson; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy Proctor, Enna Riley and Ruth Lloyd.
