Leonard B. Bare

LEONARD B. BARE, age 74, of Joppa, died at Stella Maris Hospice, Towson on November 30, 2003. Born in West Jefferson, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Tam Carson and Bertha Mae Miller Bare. He had retired after 40 years of service with Price Brothers where he worked as a concrete pipeman. He enjoyed NASCAR and working with livestock and farming.

Mr. Bare is survived by his wife of 51 years, Perna Luffman Bare; four sons, Ronnie J. Bare of Belcamp; Bobby L. Bare of Port Deposit; Donnie L. Bare of Edgewood; Rickey J. Bare of Port Deposit; three daughters, Kathy A. McKinney of Port Deposit; Barbara J. Whitt of Aberdeen; Donna L. Mutter of Edgewood; one sister, Mary Jones of Columbia, South Carolina; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Bare, James Bare, Buddy Rich, David McKinney, Jack Whitt, and Matthew Jacobs.
