Leona Cummings

LEONA CUMMINGS, age 86, of Bel Air, died in Citizens Care Center, Havre de Grace, on April 16, 2004. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Eloi and Ambrosine Babin and the wife of the late Manly J. Cummings, LTC, (USA Retired). As a military wife, she traveled the world. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. A resident of Harford County since 1966, she was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Abingdon Volunteer Fire Company. She volunteered at Fallston General Hospital, Edgewood Post Chapel, and Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Mrs. Cummings is survived by one son, Michael J. Cummings of Canada; two daughters, Janice M. Miles of Bel Air; Arlene A. Moore of Virginia; and six grandchildren, John E. Miles, IV, Jeffrey Miles, Michelle Moore, Donna Moore, Sophie Cummings and Emma Cummings.
