Leo F. Meyer Jr.

Leo F. Meyer, Jr., age 86, of Bel Air, MD passed away on August 14, 2017 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Leo Francis Meyer, Sr. and Mary Frances (Heinlein) Meyer. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was employed as a senior electronics design engineer. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, AAI Gun Club and was a Johns Hopkins Alumni. He enjoyed working on cars and traveling.

Mr. Meyer Jr. is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elsie “Dellie” D. Meyer; children, Leo Gregory Meyer of Port Deposit and Maryanne C. Curfman of Avondale, AZ; siblings, Anne Alverson of Cincinnati, OH, J. Patrick Meyer of Gold Canyon, AZ and Michael A. Meyer of Phoenix, AZ; and grandson, David R. Meyer of Hanover, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John David Meyer, Sr., brother, Teddy Meyer, and grandson, John David Meyer, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Leo G. Meyer, David Meyer, Mark Therres, John Orsini, Dave Lari and Ashley Hayward.
