LENORA MORKOVSKY, age 64, of Bel Air, died at Gilchrist Center in Baltimore, on August 9, 2004. Born in Cass, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Warren AHicks@ and Neoma AToots@ Lambert Cross. She was very devoted to her husband, always took care of others, and lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed living on the Bush River, fishing and having wonderful parties. She loved having kids at the house and babysitting. She made friends wherever she went. Through her illness she became known as the AHat Lady@ by her friends at Johns Hopkins. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, and painting with oils.
Mrs. Morkovsky is survived by her husband of 48 years, Elmer John Morkovsky, Sr.; one son, Elmer John Morkovsky, Jr. of Churchville; a daughter, Mary Ellen Wheeler and her husband, James Michael Wheeler of Baltimore; an adopted daughter, Gloria Buckingham of Marion, Virginia; two brothers, Warren ABuzz@ Cross of Gosha, Indiana; Warren Cross of Essex; two sisters, Ina Mae Wilson of Bel Air; Fran Cross of Baltimore; and one grandson, Michael James Wheeler of Baltimore; In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Jack Lambert and one sister, Susie Cross Anderson.
Pallbearers will be: Mike Stewart, Joe Conn, Warren Cross, Will Buckingham, Eddie Amberman and Justine Amberman.
