Lenna Yow

Lenna Yow, 90, of Joppa, MD passed away on September 29, 2017 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in La Follette, TN, she was the daughter of George Washington Williams and Lula Amelia Owens, and was the wife of the late Charles Shannon Yow Sr. She had been employed by the Harford County Sheriff's Department as a crossing guard for 10 years prior to retirement. She was an avid Christian who loved to read the Bible, and was affiliated with the Grace Assembly of God Church, Bel Air. She and her late husband had written a book titled "A New Thing" about the Revelations which they personally published and distributed. She loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.

Mrs. Yow is survived by her son, Charles Shannon Yow, Jr. of Garnet Valley, PA; four granddaughters, Jennifer Inglis of Scarsdale, NY, Amanda Evans of White Marsh, Christina Mitchell of Ellicott City and Carrie Yow of Baltimore; great-grandchildren, Nolan Mitchell, Brayden and Blakely Evans, Liam and Maclin Inglis; sister, Mildred Williams of Charlestown, WV; and brother James Boyd of Aberdeen.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Moculski.

Pallbearers were Charles Shannon Yow, Jr., Mike Moculski, Trey Evans, Bryan Vandanna, Jonas Mitchell and Jake Leonard.
