Lena C. Peery

LENA C. PEERY, age 99, of Bel Air, died at her home on June 4, 2003. Born in Dublin, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John William, Sr. and Rose Ella Troutner Conner, and the wife of the late Joseph P. Peery who died in 1979. She was a graduate of State Normal School at Towson, which is now Towson State University. Her practice teaching was at the Lida Lee Tall School and after graduation, she taught in a one room school for several years and later in an elementary school in the county for several more years. She was a life long member of the Towson Alumni Association.

Mrs. Peery is survived by several nieces and nephews including nephew, Robert E. Conner of Bel Air; and niece, Billie Lou Seagle of Darlington.
