LEE V. GLENN, age 83, of Phoenix, MD, died on November 18, 2006, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Towson, MD. Born in Jarrettsville, MD, he was the son of the late Ray Vaughn and Lillian Lee Morgan Glenn. He served our country in the U.S. Marines and received five Marine Corp air medals. He was the owner and operator of Bo-Peep Day Nursery, retiring after 23 years in business. He was known as Mr. Lee to thousands of children while working there. He also worked as an electrician for many years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Towson as well as a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus in Bel Air. He was also a life member of the NRA. He liked his Scottish heritage and enjoyed spending time with his dog Grey.
Mr. Glenn is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rosella H. Glenn of Phoenix, MD; three sons, Robert H. Glenn of Bel Air, MD, E. Thomas Hiser of Sonoma, CA and John R. Hiser of Charlotte, Vermont; three daughters, Linda L. Phoebus of Forest Hill, MD, Colleen G. Herbert of Cumming, GA and Ann H. Fisher of Litchfield, NH; one brother, William H. Glenn of Forest Hill, MD; four sisters, Helen Horne of Orlando, FL, Elaine Collins of Pittsfield, MA, Sandra Willinger of Chappequa, NY and Rita Howard of Wake Forest, NC; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert Glenn and a sister, Doris Driver.
Pallbearers will be Bob Glenn, Rich McEwing, Chris Helbert, Will Hiser, Peter Hiser, Nathan Fisher and Ben Fisher.
