LEE EDWARD TATUM, age 72, of Edgewood, MD, died on October 5, 2007 at his home. Born in Virginia, he was the son of the late William Upton Horner Sr. and the late Julia Mae Whitlock Horner. A Harford county resident for over 50 years, he grew up working on a dairy farm. He then worked for the Maryland State Highways and for the Board of Education. He was an avid guitar player and enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Tatum is survived by two sons, Joseph Tatum and Emory Tatum, both of Edgewood, Maryland; one daughter, Donna Tatum of Edgewood, Maryland; two brothers, Charles Horner and wife, Janet of Perryville, Maryland and James Horner of Princeton, West Virginia; and four sisters, Alice Williams of Aberdeen, Maryland, Elsie Smith Knisely and her husband, Don, of Street, Maryland, Shirley Porter and her husband, Rev. Clarence Porter, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Judy Julia Metz of Delta, Pennsylvania. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Audrey Mae Tatum, and his brother, William Horner Jr.
