Lee Dillon Sr.

Lee Dillon Sr., age 69, of Aberdeen, MD, died on June 20, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Oscar Lee and Mary Belle Brinkley Dillon. A resident of Harford County for most of his life, he had worked as a mechanic at Joppa Automatic Transmission and then later became self employed. He enjoyed rebuilding old cars, drag racing, playing horse shoes, going on fishing trips, playing guitar, and listening to Bluegrass, Gospel, and Country music.

Mr. Dillon is survived by his wife, who he married on December 22, 1978, Eleanor Ruth (Parlett) Dillon of Aberdeen, MD; sons, Oscar Lee Dillon Jr. and wife, Sandra, and Michael Gene Dillon and wife, Charlotte, all of Port Deposit, MD; daughters, Tina Robbin Chapman of Aberdeen, MD and Corina Jane Garcia and husband, Raphael, of Port Deposit, MD; sisters, Marie H. Stanley of VA, Betty J. Weaver of DE, Mary Leigh Jones of Havre de Grace, MD and Rose Carol Givens of North East, MD; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joshua and Justin Dillon, Charlie Truslue, Elmer Shank, Oscar Dillon III, and Jeffrey Dillon.
