Lawrence William Dietrich, Jr.

Lawrence William Dietrich, Jr., age 80, of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away on August 28, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Lawrence Dietrich Sr. and Anna (Swope) Dietrich. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War and retired from Baltimore County where he worked as an electrician. Lawrence was a member of the Jarrettsville VFW, St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church – Pylesville, Knights of Columbus and The Sierra Club. He loved hunting, gardening and spending time outdoors.

Lawrence is survived by his sister, Catherine Connor; nephews, Michael Connor and Brian Connor; nieces, Karin Connor and Lisa Young; and great niece & nephews, Catherine & Matthew Miller and Nicholas Young.

In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Lauren Marie Miller.
