Larry William Wood

Larry William Wood, age 58, of Belcamp, MD, passed away on September 24, 2012 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Abingdon, VA, he was the son of Neta Irene Able Wood and the late John Robert Wood. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was stationed aboard the U.S.S. Dixie. He graduated from Frostburg State College in 1981 and a long and illustrious career with the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency followed. He enjoyed camping, the outdoors, traveling the world, fishing, and boating on his boat "Deployed". He was an avid fan of the University of Maryland's football team, as well as, the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. Larry's great sense of humor, love for life, and easy-going personality endeared him to all. He really enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

In addition to his mother, Larry is survived by his daughters, Courtney Wood and Allison Wood; his brothers, Timothy Wood and John Wood; and his sister, Judy Wood.
