Larry William Iser

Larry William Iser, age 74, of Joppa, MD passed away on February 8, 2013 at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Romney, WV he was the son of the late Hamilton Martin and Harriet Elizabeth Jenkins Iser. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a manager of Drug Fair, worked for Tom's Snack Foods and later his own business, Iser Snack Sales. He started working at the age of 10 as a newspaper delivery boy and had a strong work ethic, never taking a sick day.

He especially enjoyed family gatherings, monthly games with the "poker boys", blues festivals, watching the Ravens, the old Baltimore Colts, the Orioles and WV Mountaineer's games. After retiring he enjoyed working outside tending his flowers and going to the movies. He especially enjoyed old Westerns. He was an active member of NAMI, Harford County for many years having served as librarian, and annual walk chairman.

Mr. Iser is survived by his wife of 50 years, Regina Carter Iser; son, David Hamilton Iser of Joppa; daughters, Carol Iser Pelletier of St. Louis, MO and Linda Iser Clifton of Belcamp, MD; brothers, Perry and Terry "Tommy" Iser of Romney, WV; grandchildren, Emily Iser, Angela Reiber, Alex and Nicholas Pelletier; step grandchildren, Delisa, Makaila and Marcus Clifton and great granddaughter, Melody Fofana.
