Lamar ''Lou'' M. Ware Jr.

Lamar "Lou" M. Ware Jr., age 83, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on January 19, 2013 at his home. Born in Calhoun County, Alabama, he was the son of the late Lamar "Joe" Mayson Ware Sr. and Jennie Belle Woods Ware. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country as an MP in Korea during the Korean Conflict and, later was employed as a steelmill worker. He enjoyed camping, football, especially Alabama and the Ravens, and he also loved politics.

Mr. Ware is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ethel M. Ware (nee Collett); sons, Len Ware of Pasadena and Rob Mann and his wife, Nadine, of York, PA; daughters, Sharon Renee Johnson and her husband, Daniel, of Dallas, TX and Barbara Brownheim and her husband, Scott, of Denver, NC; sister, Sarah Lepus of Essex; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
