Lacy Taylor, age 83, of Street, Maryland passed away on May 16, 2022 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in White Top, Virginia, he was the son of Virgil and Grace (Wyatt) Taylor and one of 13 siblings. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Campgrounds of America, and AMF Bowling League. Lacy enjoyed recreational fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking, carpentry and doing mechanical work on his tractors and Ford trucks. He could also be found maintaining his vegetable and flower garden.
Lacy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Norma Taylor; son, Steven Taylor; daughter, Sherry Everett; grandson, Chad Taylor; granddaughters, Taylor Warren, Brooke Taylor and Jodi Everett; great-grandson, Kaisyn Taylor. brothers, Willis Taylor, Bill Taylor, Earl Taylor, Butch Taylor, David Taylor and James Taylor; and sisters, Louise Wiggins, Helen Hall, Kathy Johnson and Eleanor Kingsley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Green and brother, Cecil Taylor.
