Konrad Steck

Konrad Steck, a resident of Abingdon, MD, died at the age of 74 on August 17, 2016 at Manor Care-Rossville in Rosedale, MD. He was born in Augsburg, Germany to Konrad Steck and Anna (Schonegg) Steck and was the husband of the late Jean Carol Steck. From 1972 to 2002, he owned and operated Lakeside Motel and the Super 8 in Harford County and also ran a limousine business. He loved wood carving and was a member of two RV Groups, the Capitols and the Stinkers.

Survivors include his daughters, Connie A Steck (Ross) and Carol A. Blankenship (Robert); his son, Charles A. Steck (Robyn); his grandchildren, Sharon and Robert Blankenship; his brother, Fred Seibold; and his sister, Herta Wenz. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Erika Ronovsky.
