Kimberley Petro, age 49, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 6, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Abington, PA, she is the daughter of Alan Quinten and Dolores Rita Baum Vitt of Medford Lakes, NJ. She had attended St. Francis University in Loretto, PA and received her Masters Degree from Towson State. An employee of the State of Maryland, she worked as a Child Psychologist at Stella Maris School and as a family counselor for Catholic Charities. A volunteer at St. Margaret School and the Home School Association, she was generous with her time always helping where needed. She loved to cook and read and was a devoted wife and mother. Her life was her family.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Frank Eugene Petro Jr. of Bel Air, MD; sons, Nicholas Francis Petro and Quinten Alexander Petro, both of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Anastasia Elise Petro of Bel Air, MD; brother, Timothy Alan Vitt of Medford Lakes, NJ; sister, Linda Christine Birks of Marlton, NJ.
She is the daughter-in-law of Francis E. Petro Sr. and Betty Petro of Johnstown, PA; and sister-in-law of Catherine Barnes and husband, Doug, of Alpharetta, GA, Maria Sanders and husband, Robert, and Stephen Petro and wife, Caroline, all of Johnstown, PA.
Pallbearers will be Tim Vitt, Jeffery Birks, Josh Birks, Andrew Barnes, Alan Vitt, and Nicholas Petro.
