Kevin S. Kahoe

Kevin S. Kahoe, age 56, of Bel Air, MD, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023 at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was born on December 24, 1966 to Robert Francis and Ellen Elizabeth (Kurtz) Kahoe.

After Kevin graduated from The John Carroll High School, he went on to study at Loyola College. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, he started and operated a snowball and ice cream business. He was later employed with his brother Billy at Kahoe Petroleum. Kevin proceeded with a career in energy at Enron, Southriver Consulting, BTU Energy, EnerNOC, and most recently, he was the Director of Global Energy Advisory Services at Enel X.

In 1990, Kevin met his wife Aurora DiCiaula. They were married on April 4, 1992 and had four children: Talia, Jake, Angela and Robert, whom he adored.

Kevin was hardworking, generous, and full of life. He found joy in a good cup of coffee, traveling, cheering on the Orioles, and spending time with his family. Kevin loved his dog Abby, vacations in the Outer Banks, weekends on the Eastern Shore, goose hunting, fishing, steaming crabs, and sharing a meal with the people he loved.

Kevin is survived by his children and their mother, son-in-law Benjamin A. Moody, brother Robert F. Kahoe Jr. (Donna), sisters Ellen K. Maschke, Carolyn B. Kahoe, Lucinda I. Kahoe (Kevin), Vivian A. Kahoe (David), Lois K. Nelson (David), Kimberly K. Muenter (Bruce), Jacqueline F. Kahoe, and Mary K. Chubb (Robert). Kevin is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews and 33 great nieces and nephews.

Kevin is predeceased by his parents, brothers Billy and Terrence, and niece Gerren Maschke.

A Reception will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 5pm at 1700 Castleton Drive, Darlington MD 21034. All are welcome to come eat, drink and celebrate Kevin's Life.
