Kerry Alexis Smith

KERRY ALEXIS SMITH, age 52, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 8, 2006 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Montgomery County, MD, she was the daughter of Albert Alexander and Ruth Marie Lussenhop Gibson of Gaithersburg, MD. She was a registered nurse for several regional hospitals and organizations including Franklin Square Hospital, the St. Joseph Medical Center, where she worked for 16 years, Upper Chesapeake Home Health and Medstar Home Health, from which she retired. Her family said that she loved to read.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Robert W. Smith, Jr. of Bel Air, MD, whom she married in 1978; two daughters, Erica Binnie, and her husband, Eric, of Abingdon, MD and Andrea Smith of Bel Air, MD; one brother, Mark Gibson of Fairfax, VA; and two sisters, Donna Gibson of Chicago, IL and Paula Cook of Orange, CA.
