KENNETH V. CULLUM, SR., of White Marsh, MD, age 66, died on May 13, 2006 at the Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William Leo and Helen Theresa Lindsey Cullum. He grew up in White Marsh, and worked there for the old Smith Motor Company for 25 years where he managed the body shop. He then worked 20 years for C.J. Langenfelder & Son where he painted and lettered heavy equipment before retiring in 2000. His family said that he loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the White Marsh Gun and Rod Club. His number one love was crabbing. The family would get together every Sunday to eat crabs on his deck that overlooks the Bird River.
Mr. Cullum is survived by his high school sweetheart, and his wife of 48 years, Laura May Margaret Popp Cullum; one son, Kenneth V. Cullum, Jr. of Upper Falls, MD; two daughters, Deborah Lee Mellon of Linthicum, MD and Connie Lynn Laublach of Aberdeen, MD; one brother, William L. Cullum of White Marsh, MD; and 7 grandchildren.
