Kenneth Therres

KENNETH THERRES, age 75, of Joppa, MD, died on June 15, 2008 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late John Beno and Mary Emma Murphy Therres. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 25 years, where he was a letter carrier in Dundalk, MD. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Edgewood V.F.W. An avid reader, he enjoyed traveling in the United States and attending family get togethers. He came from a large family of ten children and is survived by three sisters.

Mr. Therres is survived by his wife of three years, Margaret "Peggy" A. Price Therres of Joppa, MD; two sons, Jerry Therres of Conowingo, MD and Jimmy Therres of Joppa, MD; a step-daughter, Toyna Williams of Denton, NC; three sisters, Roseann Stalti of Baltimore, MD, Regina Vigna and Charlotte Sherba, both of Joppa, MD; one grandchild, Jamy Therres of Aberdeen, MD; and many step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a step-son, Bill Farley.
