Kenneth Ronald Manos

Kenneth Ronald Manos, age 70, of Edgewood, MD, died on March 7, 2010 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Gust and Lydia Howard Moore Manos. A lifelong resident of Harford County, he was raised in Joppa and was a 1957 graduate of Bel Air High School. He had worked at Bethlehem Steel, Central Atlantic Contractors, and had managed Western Auto Stores in both Edgewood and Aberdeen. A member of Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church in Joppa for over 65 years, he was very active as an usher and served on several boards. An avid golfer, he loved to work with wood and had made many things for his family.

Mr. Manos is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary K. Thomas Manos of Edgewood, MD; sons, Kenneth R. Manos II of Abingdon, MD and John E. Manos of Edgewood, MD; daughter, Kelly S. Manos of Abingdon, MD; brother, Louis Manos of Abingdon, MD; sister, Lydia M. Anderson of Abingdon, MD; grandson, Kenneth J. Manos; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Gust B. and John L. Manos.
