Kenneth D. Hensley

Kenneth D. Hensley, age 64, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on January 3, 2025, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Kenneth was the beloved son of Ruby Pauline (Coldiron) Burgin and the late Kenneth James Hensley.

Kenneth was a man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, spending much of his time fishing, deer hunting, and watching classic westerns on TV. He also found joy in riding motorcycles, which fueled his adventurous spirit. Professionally, Kenneth worked as a skilled painter for G and L Drywall and Doss Painting, leaving his mark on countless projects.

Kenneth is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Ruby Pauline Burgin; his sisters, Brenda P. (Bob) Doss and Norma J. Crouse; his stepfather, Waightstille "Waits" A. Burgin; and his two daughters, Jessica Hensley and Dawn Hensley. He was a proud grandfather to Landon Hensley, Julanae Hensley, Justice Hensley, and Graceland Morison.

In addition to his father, Kenneth was preceded in death by his stepfather, Cleo Herbert Burgin.
