Kenneth Edward Jones

Kenneth Edward Jones, age 68, of Belcamp, MD passed away on December 27, 2017 at his home. Born in Wise County, VA, he was the son of Hubert and Margie Marian (Maddox) Jones. He retired from Giant Food, after 30 years of service, where he was a Manager of the Meat Department. He was a member of Grace Assembly of God Church where he previously served as an usher, and for many years, was a member of the Over the Hill Duffers Golfers Club. He enjoyed golfing, loved studying the horse races, and was a sports enthusiast (Orioles, Ravens, University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech). He was an avid scrabble player. He enjoyed attending all the grandchildren's events when they were younger and he epitomized what a grandfather should be.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Judy, and her children, Eddie, Suerena and Noel; his grandchildren, Zachary, Christian, Olivia, Haleigh, Grant, Emma: and his great granddaughter, Mia.

Mr. Jones is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey Jones of Essex; sister, Beverly (Virgil) McKinny of Keokee, VA; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elaine Lane, Michael Jones and Christopher Jones.
