Ken Diehl

KEN DIEHL, age 84, of Baldwin, MD, died on July 28, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Hancock, MD, he was the son of the late Russell Earl and Mildred Powers Diehl and husband of the late Lillian E. Walshe Diehl. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he retired from CSX Corporation where he was manager of rail highway services. An avid gardener, he enjoyed woodworking, all types of animals and wildlife and spending time with his daughter's dog Brady. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Phoenix, MD, and was referred to as the "Mayor of Greendale Estates".

Mr. Diehl is survived by a daughter, Kathy E. Hunt and her husband, Gerard N. Hunt, of Bel Air, MD; sister-in-law, Miriam K. Diehl of Westminster, MD; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jim Brown, Tom Ackerman, Jim Green, Russ Hunt, Steve Ward, and Jim Morgan.
