KEITH THOMAS DIXON, age 70, of Bel Air, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on February 12, 2005. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Thomas Donald and Lilly Olive Henry Dixon, and the husband of the late Lela M. (Cookie) Anderson Dixon. He retired from government service as a supervisor in TECOM at Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1993. Mr. Dixon was a member of the American Defense Preparedness Association. He earned his M.S. in Engineering Administration from The George Washington University, and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. He attended the GM Institute, where he became a member of the Phi Tau Alpha fraternity. He joined Bel Air United Methodist Church in 1965. Mr. Dixon competed in national tournament bridge as a member of the American Contract Bridge League. He was an avid golfer and sports fan. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be greatly missed.
Mr. Dixon is survived by three daughters, Lisa A. Garriques of Perry Hall; Laura L. Shoup of Boise, Idaho; Leslie M. Dixon of Bel Air; one brother, James Dixon of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Phyllis DeMass of Oxford-Milville, Ohio; Carol Miglin of Parlin, New Jersey; and six grandchildren.
