Kay Penn

Kay Penn, age 72, of Forest Hill, MD, passed away on September 9, 2012 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Dail Blanchard. She enjoyed arranging flowers and had worked at Giant Food Store in Edgewood as a florist, retiring after 31 years. She was a very good cook and also enjoyed visiting Williamsburg, VA. Her most important thing was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Penn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles A. Penn of Forest Hill, MD; daughter, Kelly A. Lacy and husband, Daniel M. Hawkins, of Bel Air, MD; sister, Dale Durst of FL; and grandchildren, Kristi N. Lacy of Abingdon, MD and Angela M. Lacy of Bel Air, MD. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Mark R. Penn and Steven M. Penn.
