Kay Hess

KAY HESS, age 88, of Joppa, MD, died on March 29, 2006 at the Hart Heritage Home in Street, MD. Born in Benton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Mary Yost, and the wife of the late E.Z. McHenry and the late Charles Hess. She was a procurement specialist for the US Department of Defense. Her family said that she enjoyed playing pinochle and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hess is survived by one son, Richard T. McHenry, and his wife, Sue, of Joppatowne, MD; four grandchildren, Steven McHenry of Edgewood, MD, Stacey Pilkerton of Harrisburg, PA, Kelly Rizzi of Bel Air, MD and Brian Ward of Edgewood, MD; and three great-grandchildren, Lindsay Rizzi of Bel Air, MD, Vincent Ward of Edgewood, MD and Dominick Ward of Edgewood, MD.
