Katie Tell

Katie Tell, 93, of Churchville, MD, passed away on April 27, 2015 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Born in Speedwell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Willis and Gerbice Stevens Crigger, and wife of the late Edward F. Tell and Theodore E. Benson. She worked in the meat department for the A&P Grocery Store for 23 ½ years and was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary.

Mrs. Tell is survived by her son, Lonnie G. Sawyer of Catawba, VA; sisters, Virginia Stockson of Aberdeen and Ruby Catello of Waterford, New York; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
