Kathy S. Gorrera

Kathy S. Gorrera, age 48, of Berlin, MD, died on January 12, 2010 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Melvin George and Katherine Joan Frey Lang of Kingsville, MD. She was a bar manager for 18 years at Coins Restaurant in Ocean City, MD and wrote several articles for the Coconut Times. An avid fisherman and boater, she was very active in the Penguin Plunge in Ocean City.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Gorrera is survived by her son, Joshua M. Gorrera of Alexandria, VA; daughter, Meghan S. Gorrera of Berlin, MD; sisters, Deborah K. Hutson of Glen Arm, MD, Pamela J. Morkosky of Joppa, MD, and Melinda F. Archer of Kingsville, MD; and one granddaughter, Alexis Kay Jones of Berlin, MD.
