On February 26, 2016, Kathryn "Bonnie" Lorraine Day, age 74, of Baltimore, Maryland "shuffled off this mortal coil" surrounded by her children and friends. Born in Baltimore, she was the beloved daughter of Anna Lorraine Day (nee Price) and the Honorable Stewart Oscar Day, Chief Judge of the 3rd Judicial Circuit of Maryland. A 1959 graduate of the Bryn Mawr School of Baltimore and a 1963 graduate of Vassar College, Bonnie was a career Relocation Officer in the Office of Real Estate for the Maryland State Highway Administration. A vivacious lover of life, Bonnie participated in all things festive and especially enjoyed her opportunities to travel. In the last year alone, she made trips with her family to Costa Rica, Key West, Ocean City, JazzFest in New Orleans, and the last two Grateful Dead concerts in Chicago. She brightened the atmosphere wherever she went and always enticed others to laughter with her antics. It was said that Bonnie "was more than just a trip, she was the whole vacation." She loved her children and grandchildren and was very involved in their lives, having recently spent the Christmas Holidays with them in Indiana. Bonnie was a proud member of both the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Society of the Ark and the Dove.
Ms. Day is survived by her daughter, Wiley W. Verstappen of New Orleans, Louisiana; her son, Commander Frederick N. Teuscher Jr., US Navy (Retired) and his wife, Lisa Ann Okomski of Granger, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Teuscher and Oliver Louis Teuscher of Granger, Indiana.
