Kathleen Patricia Bulmash

Kathleen Patricia Ober Bulmash, age 60, of Dublin, MD, died on Monday, May 4, 2009 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Born May 6, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur C. and Elizabeth Hussey Ober. A 1966 graduate of Bel Air High School, she received her B.A. in Economics and History from the University of Maryland. After many years at State Farm and Trinity Lutheran Church, she spent her last eight years as Administrative Assistant for Service Coordination, Inc. where she worked to assure the welfare of the developmentally disabled. Kathleen was a remarkable woman of many talents and interests. She was a member of the Southern Maryland Dirt Riders, supporting the American Motocross Association and the Motocross Nationals at Budds Creek, MD for many years. She thoroughly enjoyed NASCAR, Orioles baseball, Terps football, horse racing, and motocross. She was an avid student of economics, politics, and history. She read and enjoyed hundreds of books. She and her husband enjoyed traveling across the USA.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gerald Bulmash; son Jeremy Aaron, 29; stepmother, Marie Ober of Florida; sisters, Margaret Burke and husband, Smith, of Asheville, NC, Anne Englebach and husband, Jon, of Marion, NC; brother Robert D. Ober and wife, Rose, of Havre de Grace, MD; brother-in-law, Nathaniel Bulmash and wife, Mary Ellen, of Kansas City, KS; nephews, Matthew Bulmash, Daniel Burke, Jay, Lukas, and Samuel Englebach; and nieces, Jennifer Burke, Alecia Vogel, Leah and Emily Englebach, and Sarah and Jennifer Bulmash. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Christopher Russell Ober.
