Kathleen "Kay" M. Baker

Kathleen "Kay" Baker, of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 95 on October 28, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was born in East Aurora, NY to Gordon M. Pixley and Alice (Shaw) Pixley and was the wife of the late Theron "Jack" Baker. She worked as a school librarian and was known for her smile and ready laugh. She was a Charter Member of Kirkmont Presbyterian Church in Venice, FL and was past President of the Myyaka Chapter of the DAR.

Survivors include her children, Cindy K. Veidt and husband, Bob, of Bel Air, and Jack Baker and wife, Connie, of VA; daughter-in-law, Barbara Baker of Ohio; grandchildren, John Veidt, Robin Manson, Jack Baker, Kari Baker, Alison Baker, Paul Thaler and Mike Thaler; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Eric Baker; her brothers, Don and Dick Pixley; and her sister, Frances Cruikshank.
