Kathleen K. Cosgrove

Kathleen K. Cosgrove, age 58, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on January 2, 2022, at home in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore City, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Newell and Kay (Foley) Newell. She was the wife of 36 years to David L. Cosgrove. She loved Ballroom Dancing and attended classes at Dancing With Friends Studio in Churchville, Maryland. Kathleen enjoyed spending her time cooking. This included making meals for her family, baking, and making candy. She was wonderful at decorating and loved throwing and planning parties so much that she took a few courses at Harford Community College for wedding planning. Kathleen served as a Deputy with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office for seventeen years. Most of all Kathleen cherished her family and any time she got to spend with them.    

Along with her husband David and mother Kay, Kathleen is survived by her two sons, Kendall L. Cosgrove and his wife Nicole, and Patrick A. Cosgrove; cherished grandmother to one grandchild, Logan D. Cosgrove; dear sister to Joseph Newell and his wife Tracy, and Amy Snyder and her husband Gary. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Newell.
