Kathleen Hornbarger

KATHLEEN “KIT” HORNBARGER, age 80, of Edgewood, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on June 25, 2004. Born in Banner, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James K. and Martha Foster Comer and the wife of the late Charles Edward Hornbarger, Sr. A resident of Edgewood since 1942, she loved gardening and crocheting. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life.

Mrs. Hornbarger is survived by two sons, Joe Hornbarger, Sr., of Edgewood and Donald Brown and his wife Terry Brown of Smyrna, Delaware; a daughter, Katherine Hoffman Mitzel of Edgewood; three grandchildren, Melanie Bon, Rebekka Hornbarger and Joe Hornbarger, Jr., all of Edgewood; and a great grandson, Aaron Stansbury of Edgewood.

Pallbearers were: Charles Hornbarger, Charles Shipley, Brad Pillar, Larry Daughtry, Bill McCullough, and James Hornbarger.
