Kathleen Gordy Fry

Kathleen Gordy Fry, age 77, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 10, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Lewes, DE, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anne Grier Gordy. Formerly an instructional assistant for Harford County Public Schools, she enjoyed working with children. After her retirement, she actively participated in senior center activities including craft classes. She was a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church for 53 years.

Mrs. Fry is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lloyd C. Fry of Bel Air, MD; son, Donald C. Fry and his wife, Bonnie F., of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Lynn A. Fry and friend, Dewayne Davis, of Abingdon, MD; grandson, Matthew C. Fry of Bel Air, MD; brother-in-law, Ralph Fry of Frederick, MD; sisters-in-law, Mary Shannon of Solomons, MD and Lois Tyson of Frederick, MD; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Ralph and Phil Gordy and a nephew, Philip (Clay) Gordy Jr.
