Kathleen Cubbage

Kathleen Cubbage, age 61, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on June 6, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she is the daughter of Margaret German Rafter of Bel Air, MD and the late Edward Francis Rafter. A lifelong resident of Harford County, she attended St. Margaret Elementary, graduated from John Carroll High School and Frostburg State with a BS degree in Social Studies and Economics. She generously donated her time to help homeless children in the area, with special efforts around the holiday season. Kathleen was a member of The Shetland Pony Society of North America and enjoyed spending time at pony shows and taking care of them.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Cubbage is survived by her husband of 39 years, John Cubbage of Bel Air, MD; son, Brian Edward Cubbage and wife, Dana of Charleston, SC; daughter, Jennifer Lee Cubbage Long and husband, William of New Market, MD; sister, Nancy Wilkinson of Bel Air, MD; and granddaughter, Josephine Long of New Market, MD.
