Kathleen B. Martin

KATHLEEN B. MARTIN, age 83, of Joppa, died at her home on December 23, 2005. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lawrence and Margaret Gross Beatley and the wife of the late W. Calvin Martin. She had worked as the church secretary for Mountain Christian Church for over 20 years and also at Fork Christian Church for 5 years. She printed prayer cards for McComas Funeral Home for many years. She was a member of Mountain Christian Church. She volunteered at Tabitha’s House collecting supplies for the needy.

Mrs. Martin is survived by one son, Charles C. Martin of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, C. Leroy Beatley of Aberdeen; one sister, Ruth B. Ehrman of Parkville; two grandchildren, Philip C. Martin and Heather A. Martin, both of Jacksonville, Florida; and a nephew, George T. Ehrman of Parkville. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, G. Milton Beatley.

Pallbearer will be Lawson Duhan.
