KATHERINE “KITTY” C. KELLY, age 77, of Bel Air, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on December 7, 2002. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Charles Gilbert and Elsie Crowell Cooley, and the wife of the late Earl Scarborough Kelly. She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bel Air where she served for many years in the church office. She was a member of the Wakefield Homemakers Association. She served as volunteer secretary for Meals on Wheels as well as a secretary at Edgewood Arsenal.
Mrs. Kelly is survived by two sons, Michael E. Kelly of Bel Air; Shawn P. Kelly of Hagerstown; one daughter, Maureen E. Steele of Sand Bridge, Virginia; one sister, Harriett E. Whitehurst of Bel Air; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Logan M. Kelly, Jeff J. Whitehurst, Doug J. Struve, J. Pat Whitehurst, Carl T. Holscher, Eric K. Holscher, Mark C. Kelly, and Stephen C. Adams.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 224 North Main Street, Bel Air, Maryland 21014.
