Karen Loloa Cox

Karen Loloa Cox, age 73, of Joppa, MD passed away on August 22, 2018 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Fountain Green Hospital, MD, she was the daughter of P. Louis Rohe and the late Loloa M. (Smith) Rohe. She graduated from the Baltimore Institute to become a medical secretary, then ran the Dorothy School of Dance in Baltimore. She operated the Karen School for Dance at her home. She also worked as a Real Estate Broker for 35 years and was GRI, CRS and CRB certified. She loved her faith, family and friends. She enjoyed dancing, going to the beach, reading, and camping. She served in many capacities at Trinity Lutheran and was Co-Director of the Stephen Ministry at the end.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband of 54 years, Adrian Cox whom she met in 10th grade at Bel Air High School where they became sweethearts; three sons, Adrian Cox and wife, Penny, of Catonsville, Sean Cox and wife, Terri, of Ridge, and Stuart Cox and wife, Gina, of Fallston; two brothers, Louis Rohe and Gary Rohe; foreign exchange sister Monica Tobias Paciuk; five granddaughters, Katie Baer, Madison Cox, Mackenzie Cox, Kyleigh Cox and Delaney Cox; four grandsons, Spencer Cox, Connor Cox, Stetson Cox and Everett Cox.

In lieu of flower, donations to Trinity Lutheran Memorial Fund, 1100 Philadelphia Road, Joppa, MD 21085. Also, nonperishables for Trinity Food Closet at visitations will be appreciated.
