Karen Leah Allen

Karen Leah Allen, age 55, of Joppa, MD, passed away on June 25, 2013 at her home. Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, she is the daughter of Shirley Kathryn Hurley Heath and the late Russell Lloyd Heath. She was a graduate of the University of Maryland where she received her Masters Degree and then worked for the State of Maryland as a Clinical Social Worker. She had a passion for gardening, and loved her sheltie puppies.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband of 34 years, Scott Allen; sons, Chris S. Allen and wife, Angela, and Mark E. Allen and wife, Stephanie, all of Joppa; and brother, Steven Brian Heath of Baltimore.

Services for Karen will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1100 Philadelphia Rd, Joppa on Saturday, July 6th 2013. The gathering will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00.
