Karen Edith Black, age 72, of Nottingham, Maryland went to be with The Lord on April 1, 2022 at her sister’s home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Robert Howell Black and the late Ruby Irene (Bolling) Black. Karen loved children and would babysit the neighborhood kids and was always available to help a neighbor in need. She also loved animals dearly. She was known for always having an assortment of candy or snacks available. You would never go hungry around her. She had a great sense of humor and her family enjoyed making her laugh. Karen was well loved by her family and numerous friends and will be greatly missed.
Karen is survived by three sisters, Dianne Stewart (Edward), Deborah Shields and Donna Muszynski; two nieces, Tina Simmons and Jennifer Lavery; two nephews, Raymond Muszynski Jr. and Brandon Muszynski; two great nephews, Alex Simmons and Luke Simmons; and two great nieces, Abby Lavery and Athena Muszynski.
