Junior W. Underwood, Jr.

JUNIOR “POP” W. UNDERWOOD, JR., age 83, of Havre de Grace, died at Harford Memorial Hospital, on June 1, 2005. Born in Williamsburg, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Clark Goldin and Silvia Cochran Underwood. He was retired from CD Miller & Co. where he was a truck driver. He was a member of the Darlington VFW and the Antioch Baptist Church. He served in Army during WWII.

Mr. Underwood is survived by his wife of four years, Gladys M. Lane Underwood; four sons, Danny Underwood of Darlington, Eugene W. Lane of Port Deposit, Marvin Reachard of Aberdeen and Rickey Reachard of Aberdeen; six daughters, Cheryl Holland of Sneeds Ferry, North Carolina, Gladys Bennett of Temple Hill, Washington, D.C., Betty Peterson of Aberdeen, Sandra Ashford of Baltimore, Phyllis Printup of Aberdeen, and Deborah Macintyre of Elkton; a brother, Roy Underwood of Williamsburg, West Virginia; a sister, Jessie Blankenship of Darlington; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
