June H. Hammond

June H. Hammond, age 89, of Joppa, MD, passed away on November 22, 2013 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Anderson James and Annietta Sollers Hoffman and wife of the late William Reed Hammond. As a young lady she worked as a model and had also worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a telephone operator. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening, and was an active member of the social groups at her church.

Mrs. Hammond is survived by her son, James Reed Hammond and wife, Karen, of Baltimore; daughter, Donna Lee Linnemann and husband, John, of New Windsor; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one brother and five sisters.
