June Denny

JUNE DENNY, age 84, of Bel Air, MD, died on May 26, 2007 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson, MD. Born in Jefferson, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Maude Neaves Campbell. She retired from Sears Roebuck & Company, where she was a supervisor of catalog sales. She enjoyed watching basketball and was a player in high school. She loved spending time with family and friends in the art of taking tea and was considered a “snowbird” because of her traveling to Florida during the winter months. She loved to sew and quilt, as well as, shopping and camping.

Mrs. Denny is survived by her husband of 64 years, William L. Denny of Bel Air, MD; four children, Willa Harkins of Jarrettsville, MD, Billy Denny of Bel Air, MD, Elaine Nowinski of Bel Air, MD and Randy Denny of Bel Air, MD; three siblings, Leona Phillips of West Jefferson, NC, Darrell Campbell of Jefferson, NC and Rosella Miller of Pfafftown, NC; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Denny Jr., Rick Denny, Josh Denny, Matthew Denny, Russel Harkins and Arthur Nowinski.
