JULIUS “JIM” STEWART, age 83, of Churchville, MD, died on September 29, 2006 at Perry Point V. A. Hospital. Born in McCullough, Alabama, he was the son of the late Crawford and Eula Mae Kaiser Stewart and the husband of the late Stella Faye Stewart. He was a brick mason in the masonry contracting industry and served in the Army during WWII. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a well known contractor in Harford County and throughout Maryland. He was a member of Edgewood Assembly of God for over 55 years.
Mr. Stewart is survived by five daughters, Katherine McDowell of Churchville, MD, Jean Kriess of Whitleyville, TN, Judy Watford of Lake Hamilton, FL, Renee’ Stewart of Joppa, MD and Denise Greco of Kinnelon, N. J.; one brother, George Stewart of Wade, MS; thirteen grandchildren, Stella Gullion of Street, MD, Vernon McDowell of Townsend, DE, Michelle McDowell of Edgewood, MD, John Christian McDowell of Churchville, MD, Alisha McDowell of Churchville, MD, Michael Kriess of Whitleyville, TN, Amanda Welch of Lebanon, TN, Heather Kriess of Whitleyville, TN, Laura Faye Lee of Orlando, FL, Joely Watford of Boca Raton, FL, Anafaye Vanden Berg of Manchester, CT, Christi Joy Greco of Kinnelon, N. J., David Greco of Kinnelon, N. J.;
and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Christian McDowell, Vernon McDowell, Brian Ahmed, Michael Gullion, Harry Tibbs and Troy McDowell.
