JULIA L. WALDENBERGER, age 60, of Bel Air died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on January 2, 2005. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Louis Joseph and Frances Kelly Waldenberger.
A life long resident of Bel Air, Ms. Waldenberger was a graduate of St. Margaret’s Grade School in Bel Air, Notre Dame Prep High School in Towson and Harcum Business School in Pennsylvania earning an Associates of Art Degree.
Devoting 30 years to her career in real estate, Ms. Waldenberger became a realtor in 1975 and completed her CRS designation in 1988. Prior to becoming a realtor, she was a Project Director of Marketing Research Studies at Hollander/Cohen Associates. Her achievements included Harford County Association of Realtors, Associate of the Year in 1989, Life Member of the Harford County Million Dollar Association, a member of the RE/MAX 100% Club, and had served as a former board member of the Harford County Board of Realtors. She joined RE/MAX American Dream in 1999.
In the more than 25 years that Ms. Waldenberger had been a realtor, she had helped hundreds of families with their real estate needs. On many occasions, her repeat customers were the second generation of previous clients. Over the years, she had gained a vast knowledge of a wide variety of real estate including residential, lot, condominium, farm and commercial transactions. She had continued, throughout her career, to keep abreast of market conditions and technical updates and provided a marketing plan that can’t be surpassed.
Ms. Waldenberger lived in Bel Air in a home that her father built. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cruises, and entertaining friends. Her volunteer activities included the MS Society, March of Dimes and she was a supporter of the Harford County 4H Livestock Club. From 1990 to 1998, she was appointed to the Harford County Planning Advisory Board.
When you think of Julia, remember her beautiful smile and laughter. Her loving gifts of caring, generosity and devotion will be remembered by her extended family of friends.
Ms. Waldenberger is survived by a dear friend, Donald Edwards of Airville, Pennsylvania.
